Ph. D. in Computer Science, Joseph Fourier University, Grenoble. Subject: Contribution to the definition and to the implementation of the Extended-LOTOS language. Advisor: Hubert Garavel. Ph.D. thesis carried out in the team VASY, at INRIA Rhône-Alpes. Mention: "Tres Honorable"
1995:
"Diplôme d'Etudes Approfondies" (Master degree) in Computer Science, INPG, Grenoble. Subject: Compilation techniques for ADTs in view of model-checking. Master thesis project carried out at the VERIMAG laboratory. Mention: "Bien" (GPA 15.56/20).
1994:
Graduate engineer diploma in Computer Science at the "Politehnica" University of Bucarest, Romania. GPA: 9.9/10.

Prizes

1990:
2nd price to the Romanian Professional Competition of Physics.
1990:
3rd price to the Romanian Professional Competition of Mathematics.
1989:
1st price to the regional competitions of Mathematics and Physics and 16th position at the Romanian Olympiad of Mathematics.

Employement

since September 1999:
Maître de Conférences (Assistant Professor) at the University of Paris Diderot
December 1998 - September 1999:
Post-doctoral researcher in the teams Bip and SoSSo of INRIA (National Institute of Research in Computer Science and Automatic). Work on automatic generation of fault tolerant code for real-time, embedded systems.
June 1993 - February 1994:
Training engineer in Computer Science at the Research Center for the Problems the Sport, Bucarest. Work on a tool of evaluation of the evolution of pupils' physical performance.
