About

The purpose of the conference is to celebrate Adrian Bondy's' 70th Birthday, by reuniting some of the numerous colleagues, students, friends in Paris.

Adrian obtained his phD from Oxford University in 1969. He was a full time professor of Graph Theory at Waterloo University between 1969 and 1994, before holding the same position at Université Lyon 1 until his retirement in 2011. Together with U.S.R Murty he wrote "Graph Theory with Applications", a textbook that was published in 1976 (followed by a new graduate text version in 2008), and that was instantly recognized as a reference for graph theory courses all around the world. He has served (also with Murty) as a managing editor and co-editor-in-chief of the Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series B from the late 70's (taking then the succession of Dan Younger) to 2004 . He is an author or a co-author of over 100 publications.
