PageRank

Scope

Computes a rank for each URL based on the graph of the crawled pages.

Interface

• It sends to the Links server a message :

  GETI _urlid_
  GETO _urlid_
  

  and receives the answer :

  IN _urlid_dest_ _urlid_src1_ ... _urlid_srcn_
  OUT _urlid_src_ _urlid_dest1_ ... _urlid_destn_
  

• It sends to the URL Resolver server a message contaning the computed rank for each page :

  PUTR _urlid_ _rank_
  

• Reads a file giving the server socket of the Links server and the one of the URL Resolver server.
