I am very fond of higher-dimensional rewriting, eager to find out more about its applications to other branches of mathematics, especially to algebra, e.g. in combinatorial group theory or in effective algebra.

My research interests also include word problem, normalisations in monoids, Garside theory, theory of collapsing schemes (aka discrete Morse theory), homology of monoids, plactic monoids, Artin-Tits monoids and groups, Coxeter groups, geometric group theory...

I am open towards algebraic topology (in particular, homotopy theory) and curious about higher category theory.
