• Park and Suites: Paris Cité guests can benefit from a negotiated price including breakfast at Park and Suites Grande Bibliothèque, 70 avenue de France.

• Bed and Breakfast via CNRS: It is possible to book bed and breakfast in Thiais or Villejuif.

• HENEO: Apart from Les Recollets and Villa Pasteur (see above), Hénéo offers other residences.

• Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris – CIUP: 17 boulevard Jourdan, 75014 PARIS - (furnished studio €990) offers accommodations for interns, doctoral, and postdoctoral students. CIUP is divided into different independent houses, so it is sometimes useful to apply to several. The procedures are done directly by the beneficiary.
• There are hostels for young people and students at more attractive prices than in the private sector. Here is a non-exhaustive list.

All public agents who are permanent or recruited for at least 6 months have access to a quota of social housing. The procedures to obtain them are long but the prices are very interesting. This is the housing allowance for state agents (BALAE): BALAE

Science accueil is an organization accessible to all IRIF members that arrive from a foreign country. They can help you find lodging. Besides they assist you for administrative procedures, finding housing, mental health support, French courses, cultural visits.
VERY IMPORTANT: If you contact them you have to specify that you belong to a laboratory that is managed by “Délégation Régionale Villejuif ” (you have to enter it in the form under the entry « parent body » or « organisme de tutelle »).
