Focus on Sarah Winter, new associate professor at IRIF, Université Paris Cité

Sarah Winter has recently joined the IRIF lab as an associate professor. She is in the automata, structures and verification pole and more specifically in the automata and applications team. In this interview, she talks about her passion for programming, her aim to use synthesis to simplify programs and her passion for 360° photography.

« Recently there has been a trend to use AI for everything, and I have become very interested in this topic. Basically what I want to try to do is to combine traditional synthesis messages with AI messages, to get the best of both worlds in a way, and to come up with synthesis messages that have formal guarantees but also have the ease and convenience of AI messages. »
